hockey

Today we had Peter from Canterbury hockey visit us. In hockey we were learning about dodging other people. First we did dribbling. We had to imagine the ball is stuck to the stick with double-sided-tape. After that we learnt how to stop and dodge other players. We had to control the ball at all times. Lastly we played a game like "Rob The Nest'. We had to get the ball from the middle until all the balls are gone. After all the balls are all gone in the middle we had to rob other peoples nest. I found turning the ball a bit hard because the ball kept running away. I found holding the stick easy. I learnt how to turn the ball today in hockey.
Here is a picture of Mrs Mcguinniety's home room.
